The Skeeter Boat Company is proud to announce the 20th annual Owner’s Tournament scheduled for June 6-9 on Lake Fork, Texas.

Last year Skeeter hosted 1,624 anglers competing from 810 Skeeter boats who traveled from every corner of the United States to attend. More than $250,000 in Cash & Prizes are up for grabs this year as anglers seek to battle it on a very healthy and productive fishery. 13-sot-hpimage

TFO will be hand all days of the event demo a full line-up of their conventional rods. Stop by wiggle a rod and ask some questions.

“Our annual Owner’s Tournament is like a family reunion, and our owner’s always put the event on their schedule well in advance,” says Skeeter’s Director of Sales and  Marketing, Ben Jarrett.

“People view this as great way to kick-off the summer with a short, quick vacation that can result in that “one magic cast” that could mean big money.

Folks come to enjoy the vendors and sponsor exhibits, food, fishing lore, camaraderie and most importantly, the world class Lake Fork Bass Fishing.”

Jarrett added that, “Each year, the Skeeter Owner’s Tournament draws anglers from
almost every state.”

“Folks come from everywhere, bringing spouses, friends,  grandparents, kids and fill up the campgrounds, motels and lodging within many miles of  Lake Fork. While the event is built around having a good time, our owners are serious about the competition, as there is significant cash on the line for fishing well.”

The weekend offers a host of family-fun activities, open to the general public, while  Skeeter owners will vie for more than $250,000 in cash and prizes, including a Skeeter  FX20 package powered by a Yamaha VMAX SHO 250, MinnKota Trolling motor and
Humminbird Electronics for the overall big bass winner and a ZX200 powered by a  Yamaha VMAX SHO 200, MinnKota Trolling motor and Humminbird Electronics to the largest bass under the slot.

Hourly Payouts will be over $74,000, which is $5,700 awarded per hour, with each top hourly winner receiving a check for $1,020, providing  130 chances of walking away with a check during the two-day tournament.

Prizes will  also be awarded to top anglers in the Junior and Ladies Divisions.

“There will be plenty of activities dockside, as we’ll have vendors and sponsor exhibits and demo rides in a collection of our bass and bay boats,” says Jarrett.

Contestants will  also have a chance to win one of two, Yamaha 350 Grizzly’s that will be given away!
